Eric Breitbart, M.D.

Southeastern Health Orthopedic Surgeon Pediatric and Adult Sports Medicine

Dr. Eric Breitbart is a member of the Southeastern Health faculty as an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in pediatric and adult sports medicine. A native of northern New Jersey, Dr. Breitbart earned his undergraduate degree at The College of New Jersey and his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ and completed his orthopedic residency at Rutgers NJ Medical School. He then completed a fellowship in sports medicine at the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn) where he received specialized training in both adult sports medicine at UPenn and pediatric sports medicine through the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

Not only does Dr. Breitbart oversee the SeHealth athletic training program, which services the six high schools of Robeson County, but also is the team orthopedist for UNC Pembroke Athletics and an assistant professor to Campbell University’s Jerry M. Wallace School of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Breitbart is dedicated to providing the best research‐based sports medicine care to the children and adults in Robeson County.

 

 

 


Jamie Young, C‐FNP

Southeastern Health Family Nurse Practitioner

Family Nurse Practitioner Jamie Young has joined the medical staff of Southeastern Health and is providing care at Southeastern Orthopedics. Young earned an associate’s degree in nursing from Southeastern Community College in 1997. She also earned bachelor’s degrees in biology (2004) and nursing (2010) from UNC Pembroke. She completed a master’s degree in nursing with family nurse practitioner emphasis from Walden University in 2015. Young lives in Lumberton and has worked in various nursing roles with Southeastern Health including staff nurse and case manager.
